It seems gone are days of boasting that your website responds in milli-seconds and are now “bot protected” such as the services provided by Cloudflare, which to date, we don’t use, but take extra time to visit sites
There is a domain on this system which has existed for 25 years and despite this, spam is being sent to it and some messages are not in plain text, such as Russian and Chinese/Japanese/Korean etc characters as an image, which can’t be “copy and pasted” into Google Translate into English. Even worse, some of these sites are block us from accessing them, you have to be in the country which sent the email, but being an image, it’s hard to even workout which language the email is from, so we’re unable to contact the sender to request an English translation or un-subscription, only if the website has a telephone number on Google, could we contact the sender, but this also highlights the difference in the senders time zone and ours, in which the time in that country means the company could be closed
Due to the increased number of emails containing images of text with alphabets not used in English, boxtrapper will be used in the hope if there is a genuine recipient hopefully they might translate the English boxtrapper message into their language and alphabet and we’d find out why they’ve been emailing in the first place
Most reputable websites that sends marketing emails, usually send a confirmation message, which the recipient clicks on a confirmatory link to confirm they are the owner of the address and they wish to subscribe. Sadly, this isn’t happening and non-English messages are being received
If your not sure if you have the correct email address or domain, please contact the person, such checking when your being given the address, don’t assume the spelling, as by telephone or check on Google. If your contacting a domain on this system, we can’t give you information about a third party, we’d just recommend you call or check on Google
We are not joking there is a domain we have which has been getting messages for people who don’t exist for 25 years, including one account getting emails in French, despite the face we don’t speak French
Please contact the person to make sure you have the correct email, any emails sent by mistake will be deleted – potentially unread – also emails with attachments will also be automatically deleted
